Do I have to change how I buy?
No. Keep your appointments, your order forms and your notes. ThreadCloud reads what you already have.
Do I need Shopify?
Yes. ThreadCloud is a Shopify app. It works inside your store, and what you approve shows up in your own Shopify admin. If your store is not on Shopify, ThreadCloud is not a fit today.
What if it reads something wrong?
You review every product before anything happens, and your edits always win. Anything it is unsure of waits for you, and a sent purchase order is locked so the record stays true.
Does it put products on my site by itself?
Never. Products go to Shopify as drafts, and when they go live is always your call.
My Shopify catalog is already a mess. Can it help?
Yes. An optional setup labels the products you already have: category, colour, size and season. Nothing is guessed, nothing is deleted, and titles, prices and photos are never touched.
Shopify is moving to AI shopping. Why does my product data matter?
Shopify now groups the same product across stores so AI shopping assistants can find it, and it can only work from what your listings say. When every brand writes sizes, colours and details differently, a product it cannot match simply stands alone. ThreadCloud builds a clean, complete record for each product before it reaches Shopify, so what the assistants read is right.
